Hello and welcome to my site. My name is Aimee Manning. I have had the pleasure of teaching American history at Greensburg Salem for 15 years.
   In American History I, we study U.S. history from the end of the Civil War through World War II. This year the 9th grade course has adopted the TCI program, the same one used by most students in 8th grade.
    The Advanced Placement US History course is a survey of American history from the beginnings through the present. It is designed to simulate a college level survey course.
   My hope is that, through the study of our nations's past, students will begin to understand their own place in the world and the impact individuals can have on the world.
