Technology
- High School
     - Full-Time remote learners can pick up devices Tuesday, September 8
     - Group A Hybrid will receive devices Tuesday, September 8
     - Group A Hybrid will receive devices Thursday, September 10
 
- Middle school
     - Full-Time remote learners can pick up devices Tuesday, September 8
     - The remaining district devices will be handed out to GSMS hybrid learners the week of 09/14
 
- Elementary Education
     - Full-Time remote learners in Grades K - 5 can pick up devices the week of September 8-11
 
- 1:1 computer technology will start for the 2020-2021 school year 
- 1:1 purchases of devices are secured through CARES Act Funding
- All student K-1 will be issued iPADS (distribution info coming soon)
- All students 2-12 will be issued HP Streams (distribution info coming soon)

*Parents and guardians should contact their school office for specific details or changes. 
*Scheduled holidays and days off will not disrupt the group meetings scheduled above. 
For Example: When school is off on a Monday, Group A will be in school on Tuesday and remote Wednesday - Friday. 
Expectations for Face Coverings
- All staff and students must wear a face-covering upon entering the building
- Face coverings should be worn throughout the school day
- Mask breaks for students and staff will be provided 
Central Westmoreland Career and Technology Center
- High school students are able to attend the CWCTC every day based on their CWCTC schedules
- High school students can ride the Tech Bus to and from the CWCTC 
- Students must be transported to the high school to ride the Tech Bus on days outside of their hybrid group schedule
- As of August 18, 2020, CWCTC classes start August 31, 2020
Bus Transportation
- Busses will be cleaned between each run
- All passengers and the driver must wear face coverings on the bus
- Seats will be assigned by the driver
- Bus route information will be communicated through school messenger prior to the start of school
Parent Portal
- Parents and guardians will be asked to use the Parent Portal for items related to their child's academic performance, attendance, emergency card information, student handbook sign off, and other important information.
- Parents and guardians are encouraged to log in to their parent portal account to update their information.
